Instagram announces new anti-bullying features

Instagram's photo and video sharing service today announced some features to help combat cyberbullying.

An article on Facebook Instagram says that the first feature helps users to manage many unwanted interactions instantly. You can delete multiple negative comments together and prevent multiple accounts from posting these negative comments together.

To enable this feature on iOS, you can click any comment and then click the dot icon in the upper-right corner. There you can select (Manage Comments) to specify up to 25 comments that must be deleted at the same time. On Android, you can long press a comment and then tap the point icon to delete the comment. You can block and restrict the account.

In addition to removing negative comments, Instagram has released a new feature that reinforces positive comments, which are "sticky comments." If you include some of these comments in the comments above, users will receive a positive promotion.

The service said to tackle the Instagram signals issue: Here users can define which accounts they can refer to in the post, including options: "Anyone", "Next Account", or "Person". New features include restricting the mention of users in comments, titles and stories.
