NFC announces a new standard for wireless charging technology for small devices

NFC today announced a new standard of WLC wireless charging technology that targets small devices and enables smart devices to charge and communicate at the same time.

The new WLC standard for wireless charging announced today comes from NFC, which allows smartphones and chargers to charge and connect compatible devices with support for 1W power transmission.

OnePlus recently introduced fast wireless charging technology up to 30W, while Qi wireless charging has reached 5W. This is enough to support internet devices (such as smart watches, bracelets, smartphones, headphones).

On the other hand, the wireless headset case supports charging via the headset, and some versions of smartphones provide reverse wireless charging. This feature is usually of small capacity and people are waiting for the new WLC wireless charging technology, which provides more opportunities in wireless charging technology. By changing the design of these devices to support charging small devices, permanent removal of the charging sockets of these devices can be supported and only wireless charging technology is used.
