Trump extended Huawei's ban to May 2021

Today, Wednesday, U.S. President Donald Trump extended the signed decree in May 2019 for a period of one year, which prohibits American companies from trading with the Chinese company Huawei.

The decision was extended until 2021, declaring a national emergency, and preventing US companies from using communications equipment manufactured by companies that threaten national security.

He called for the drafting of the International Business Law for International Emergencies to enable the president to regulate trade in response to national emergencies threatening the United States.

Members of Congress said: Trump's 2019 decree directly targets Chinese companies such as Huawei and ZTE.
