Like most routers that I see on Amazon, the star rating is very low and there are many complaints. Like most routers * I *, I only choose routers that can install DD-WRT. Home configuration uses three routers, all connected to the same subnet. Since this router and WRT-400N have dual radio frequency (2.4GHz and 5.0GHz), I don't have a big router. You can give me more remote control keys and wireless access point services. (I use the E2000 and deactivate the radio on the "network" shelf in the basement, which can supply power to the routers and connect two NAS boxes.) Although the router is stable in the current firmware, sometimes I have to restart the router alone Bad radio condition can be restored. I also can't open the printer's USB port. (I only worked once ... not since then, but everything is checked at a command prompt!) I feel that I only need to search in some firmware versions differently to find a version that works fine. . The router is sufficient to develop basic hardware. The coverage is greater than that in the E2000 and WRT-400N (with the same condition, although colors are different).
I can only recommend Linksys routers (if they can download DD-WRT firmware). It turns them into better, more configurable and generally more stable products than OEM firmware. So far I have downloaded the firmware on five routers, but the firmware is not destroyed.
