| Adobe launches important new features for Photoshop on iPad |
Adobe announced today (Monday) that it has introduced two new features for the iPad tablet version of the popular Photoshop photo editing app: edge brushes and frame management tools.
The Edge Brush is one of the most important functions in Photoshop, as this is the only way to precisely define the edges of the fur or hair. With the tool, he can move the mouse over the edge the user wants to adjust, then change some controls to focus completely on what he wants to select. The user interface is simplified and can be used with touch controls. However, according to Adobe, the tool produces the same results as the desktop version of Photoshop.
Although the Frame Manager tool is not a great feature, it is useful for iPad users because it allows users to rotate frames, especially using the touch screen and the computer to move them with two fingers to make drawing and editing easier. No computer transfer required.
Almost a year after the American company announced the decision, the Photoshop app for Apple iPad was released on November 4.
Last December, Adobe launched the "Theme Detection" tool, which automatically uses artificial intelligence technology to set clear boundaries for the subject of the image.
In addition to the object selection tool, Photoshop iPad also improved the user interface and speeded up the speed of cloud documents. PSD PSD files - which were first introduced when launching the application and giving users access to Photoshop files from any device - allow users to upload and download files at speeds of up to 90%.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the app release, Adobe launched several new desktop and iPad features for Photoshop in February last year. Desktop version features include improved content-conscious packaging, support for Mac OS Dark user interface and iPad object and print selection settings.
