The Mobile Device Development Community (XDA) has worked with Fxtec to develop the smartphones (Pro1 X) that run on LineageOS and Ubuntu Touch OS.

Fxtec released the Pro 1 phone in 2019, which is an updated version of the QWERY phone.

Fxtec focuses on building phones on the hardware side, while XDA developers focus on software development.

XDA developers chose LineageOS (from Cyanogen) and Ubuntu Touch OS.

Over the past few years, LineageOS and other platforms have become increasingly popular in the XDA community, and interest in these alternative Android distributions has increased.

The team can work on (USB-C) (HDMI) so you can connect large screens and peripherals to convert your mobile phone into a Linux desktop.

Ubuntu Touch OS performs well on phone screen and gesture based user interface, and can run Android (AnBox) apps.

The Pro1 X is equipped with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage space.

The phone has a full QWERTY sliding keyboard with 66 keys hidden behind a 5.99 inch OLED display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.

The phone when closed is 14 mm thick and weighs 243 grams. When turned on, the screen is tilted and can be used with Snapdragon 835 processor. 3200 mAh battery and supports (Quick Charge 3.0) and (USB Power Delivery). .

There is a dual rear camera with a main sensor (12 MP) from Sony (IMX363) and a secondary sensor with 5 MP resolution, in addition to an 8 MP front camera.

There is also an HDMI output port that allows you to connect your phone to a screen and use it as a touchpad on Ubuntu Touch OS.

You can first order a mobile phone (Pro1 X) through the event hosted by the supporting company (Indiegogo). When the phone is officially launched in March 2021, it will be priced at $ 899.

The main reason behind creating Pro1 X is to give our users a choice, said Nirave Gondhia, XDA Content Manager.
