YouTube is once again trying to fight offensive comments

YouTube follows the same steps as other social networks to remove offensive comments from videos by reminding users before posting offensive content.

In a blog post, YouTube announced a new feature that would inform users when they post comments they think are dangerous to others, so they can think about it before posting.

The tool does not prevent users from posting comments. The warning won't appear before every comment, but it will appear in comments that the YouTube system rejects and contain duplicate reports. When the warning is displayed, the user can continue the comment or spend some time modifying the comment.

For content creators, YouTube has introduced an enhanced YouTube Studio filtering system, its channel management service. The new filter allows you to remove unwanted and harmful comments that are automatically identified. It has not been released for review. The tool will first run on Android with comments in English.

According to the site, the automatic filtering system has removed 46 hate speech comments daily since early 2019, although YouTube has been plagued by abusive comments and hate speech. According to Khattab, the website says, 1.8 million channels were closed in the last quarter. I hate it.

YouTube is also working to address other issues plagued by developers, including profitability, bias, pressure, and concerns about channel growth. Beginning next year, the site will voluntarily ask content creators to provide the requested information about gender, sexual orientation and race.

The site wants to use this data to determine how to interact with different communities to discover content and when to monetize. The gay community posted on YouTube had previously complained that the site's system automatically declined monetization features or hid their videos.
