Hyundai Motor Company launched a customer service robot in its showroom

In order to provide assistance without unnecessary human intervention, Hyundai Motor has launched a new customer service robot that is both beautiful and effective.

This new customer service robot was first tested in a modern showroom in southern Seoul.

The company said part of DAL-e's goal is to serve customers looking to reduce exposure to people during the coronavirus pandemic.

The name DAL-e stands for "I guide you, help you, and connect you with your experience", as the robot is equipped with the latest artificial intelligence technologies that provide easy-to-use customer service.

Includes facial recognition system and language understanding platform for communicating with potential clients.

According to Hyundai Motor, this means the robot can detect people who entered the showroom without a mask and then advise them to wear a mask.

The company said: The medium-sized human figure of the DAL-e robot combines emotional physical traits with flawless dialogue and gives a welcome incentive.

With four multi-directional wheels, the DAL-e can also move around the exhibition hall and accompany customers.

There is a touch screen above your head that allows you to learn more about a particular vehicle. The robot can also communicate wirelessly with the site's large screen and urge visitors to take selfies.

"DAL-e is a next-generation service platform that can provide automated customer service at any time," said Dong JinH, vice president and head of the Hyundai Group Robotics Lab.

He added: Compared to traditional robots, DAL-e has to deliver consistent messages to customers in a more intimate and personal way. With constant updates and improvements, DAL-e can help us in an offline environment. An enjoyable experience. .

Compared with other customer service robots and guidance robots in the market, the robot weighs 80kg and is lighter in weight.

If the test is successful, the company hopes to place more DAL-e robots in other Hyundai and Kia showrooms.
