Linksys introduces the AXE8400 mesh router

Linksys Aware Subscription Service - Use a wireless network system to discover traffic in your home - now has a new update, just got smarter. This update allows the router to connect to other stable smart home products over the Internet for more accurate tracking of your home movement.

Linksys Aware's original motion detection system detects how wireless network signals travel between routers in an interfering network system near your home.

The motion normally disables these signals, allowing the router to act as a motion detection setup without any additional equipment.

Linksys now provides support for the use of other smart home products connected to the Internet (such as amplifiers, smart switches, and thermostats) as additional hotspots to allow the motion detection system to operate in a larger area and provide more accurate position movement detection.

With the new update, users can know when motion is detected near a specific device, such as b- an Apple TV in the living room or a smart socket in the lobby.

Since the installer depends only on your current internet connection, it can be used with most third-party devices without software updates, and the Linksys app will indicate compatible devices.

The Linksys Aware update will be released in the US in March or April. Additional releases will be released worldwide in the coming months.

It's priced at $ 2.99 a month or $ 24.99 a year and comes with a free 90-day trial.

In addition to the updated features from Linksys Aware, the company announced the new AXE8400 mesh routing system, the first to support the Wi-Fi 6E standard.

The AX8400 is designed for frequent wireless customers, not for beginners. The device is priced at $ 450 for the device, $ 850 for two devices, and $ 1,200 for three devices.

Each AXE8400 is a tri-band router that supports 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz networks and can cover 3000 square feet.

There is a 5Gb / s WAN connection plus four additional 1Gb / s LAN connections and USB 3.0 connectivity.

According to Linksys, the AXE8400 should be able to comfortably handle more than 65 devices at the same bandwidth at the same time.

AXE8400 is also compatible with other Linksys Smart Nested network routers. So if you are a Linksys customer, you can add it to your existing network settings.
