Honor confirms that the Google app has passed the Honor 50 Returns to his phone

Honor officially announced today that the Honor 50 series will include Google apps and services at the launch of the Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro in China.

Honor said in a statement that its phones will be subject to security clearance from Google, and based on Google's licensing and governance model, its devices can choose to pre-install Google Mobile Services (GMS) on compatible devices.

"Consumers can try GMS-equipped Honor smartphones and tablets," the company said.

A spokesperson confirmed that the Honor devices mentioned in the statement are the new Honor 50 series devices.

These devices will be first ordered in China on June 25 and will be launched in international markets such as France, Malaysia, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom at prices to be announced later.

Honor was unable to provide Google apps and services on its phones, including the Google Play Store, as former parent company Huawei was added to the US Entity List, forcing Google to revoke its Android license.

Unlike the Honor 50 series, Huawei sold Honor at the end of last year, which means that the company can once again collaborate with Google.

At the same time, Huawei is still unable to use Google's software and uses its own Hongmeng OS as an alternative.

Honor is back!

Last month, after the German company's account leaked the message in a now-deleted tweet, reports surfaced of Google's return on Honor phones.

As for the device itself, the most notable highlight is the rear view camera that is placed inside the circular protrusion.

These phones have a quad rear camera setup with a 100p primary lens, an 8p wide angle lens, a 2p macro lens, and a 2p depth lens.

Honor 50 Pro is equipped with two front cameras, the main lens is 32p and the ultra-wide angle is 12p. Honor 50 has a 32MP front camera.

The screen refresh rate of these two phones is 120Hz, the Honor 50 Pro screen is 6.72 inches and the other device is 6.57 inches.

Available colors are silver, bronze, green and black. These phones are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 778G processor.

The Honor 50 Pro is equipped with a 4000mAh battery that can be charged up to 100W.

The Honor 50 has a 4,300mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging.

The return of Google's software to Honor phones is unlikely to have much impact in China. These phones are usually sold without the Google Play Store.

The internal price of the Honor 50 is around $425 and the Honor 50 Pro is around $580.

In addition to the two flagship phones, Honor has also released the cheaper Honor 50 SE, which starts at $375.
