Apple launched MacBook Pro a threat to Nvidia and AMD

Apple's MacBook based on the M1 chip sells very well. But the company did not stop there, because a new version of the integrated processor started a war against AMD and Nvidia. These are the M1 Pro and M1 Max versions.

Here the new processor offers an effective alternative to discrete graphics cards in Windows laptops. In addition to the outstanding processor and graphics processing power of the next MacBook Pro, it also offers more ports and advanced features.

Due to the improvement in general specifications, newer MacBook Pro computers are becoming more professional, especially in terms of different ports and screen frequencies, which is a threat to other business laptops.

In contrast, MacBook laptops performed well. The battery life is longer than that of the competition battery. This is understandable given the reliance on ARM chips rather than traditional processors.

Apple competes with NVIDIA and AMD

Apple also announced that it will benefit from testing and comparing the MacBook Pro with the M1 Max and Windows PCs. In fact, the power consumption of the MacBook Pro is reduced by 100 watts. The M1 Max also offers graphics performance equal to or better than the RTX 3080.

Apple has clearly demonstrated its physical and technical advantages. This is because the graphics processor is built into the motherboard. However, the performance is better than that of the RTX-3080 main card, which works on its own.

In contrast, the Anandtech platform test yielded perfect results. GFXBench tests prove that the new MacBook Pro with M1 Max and M1 Pro is close to the performance of business laptops with i9-11980HK processor and RTX 3080.

Previous tests may be more comprehensive for severe procedures. Especially photo and video editing software. In contrast, MacBook Pro computers have poor gaming performance. But this performance is still quite high because the hardware performance of games like Shadow of the Tomb Raider is almost as good as that of the RTX 3050.

Since the Mac platform is not entirely suitable for gaming, these results are still excellent. Only x86 games can be played for compatibility reasons. So if your game MacBook comes with an M1 Pro or M1 Max processor, the machine should deliver up to an RTX 3080 and more.
