| PUBG: New State Coming to Phones November 11 |
Krafton announced that the mobile game PUBG: New State will release on November 11th on iOS and Android.
Set against the backdrop of 2051, the game brings a futuristic feel to the PUBG multiplayer game mode with new features such as custom weapons and in-game drones.
After final technical tests in 28 countries/regions from October 29-30, the game will be available in more than 200 countries/regions and 17 languages at launch.
Test countries include Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Jordan, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Oman, Lebanon, Bahrain and Turkey.
New State is a major release in the series. After the first game was released in 2017, it helped increase the popularity of the battle royale genre.
New State may not be the first mobile game since PUBG Mobile launched in 2018, but the first game was developed by PUBG Studios, the original developer of the game.
The original PUBG Mobile was mainly developed by the Chinese technology giant Tencent.
The company noted that New State had strict anti-fraud measures in place when it was released and that the company is actively monitoring the community for issues before they spread.
PUBG mobile games have had major problems with scammers in the past. Earlier this year, it was reported that a fraudulent organization generated more than $70 million in revenue from fraudulent games.
However, this is not the only game that has experienced these issues. Other companies like Activision and Valve recently released information about their efforts to prevent fraud on their games and devices.
Announced during the online presentation of PUBG: New State
As in the previous group stage, New State is all about multiplayer games. Up to 100 players enter the map and one player or one team wins.
Four maps will be available at New State launch, including the core Erangel series. The Company is committed to regularly updating new content over time.
According to a Bloomberg report from January, Crafton plans to release another game for PC and console next year in addition to mobile devices.
The company announced that the number of pre-registrations for NEW STATE on iOS and Android has exceeded 50 million. Pre-registration began in February 2021 when Crafton officially released the game.
