Apple does not currently plan to release a new 27-inch iMac

Apple discontinued the 27-inch iMac when it launched the Mac Studio and the 5K Studio Display. Although the company reported to the media that the 27-inch iMac is gone. The company is rumored to be working on a new iMac Pro.

But this cannot be the case. According to a new report from 9to5mac, the company currently has no plans to release an all-in-one iMac larger than 24 inches anytime soon.

If the report is correct, that means we won't see a 27-inch M1 processor anytime soon — the recently discontinued iMac still uses Intel chips.

Apple reportedly has no plans to release a larger iMac with an M1 Pro, M1 Max or M1 Ultra processor. We may also not see an iMac with the M2-powered MacBook, which the company plans to release later this year.

The site said it had received information about Mac Studio Pro and Studio Display from the same source before it was leaked.

Unveiled last year, the 24-inch iMac powered by the M1 processor is currently the only iMac available directly from the company's website.

The tech giant is working on a new 24-inch computer set to be launched in 2023. But the device may still be one of the company's relatively reasonable options.

The device will also not have a high-end chipset, like the MacBook Air and the 13-inch MacBook Pro.

Apple doesn't plan to release an iMac with a bigger screen

Apple's plans may change, but that doesn't mean the company hasn't considered offering a different version of the iMac at some point.

You should now focus on promoting the upcoming Mac Studio and Mac Pro to professional users.

The company is expected to launch new Macs with its processors in June, with more to follow by the end of the year. This is according to a report published by Bloomberg last month.
