Amazfit Rolls Out Critical Fix for European Users After Daylight Saving Time Glitch

If you're an Amazfit smartwatch user in Europe and have noticed your weather widget on the fritz or your health metrics looking a little off recently, you're not alone. The good news? Amazfit has officially acknowledged the issues and is deploying a fix right now.

The problems began cropping up for many users shortly after the switch from Daylight Saving Time (DST) back to standard time on October 26th, 2025. A company representative took to Reddit to clarify that the twin issues were directly related to the seasonal time change.

What Exactly Went Wrong?

According to the brand, two key features were impacted:

  1. The Weather Disappeared: Users reported that the weather information on their watch faces or within the weather app was not displaying as expected. Amazfit pinpointed this to "a mismatch in time between information in the cloud and on-device." Essentially, the communication between the watch and Amazfit's servers got out of sync due to the time change. The company has confirmed that this particular cloud-side bug has now been resolved.
  2. Health Metrics Went Haywire: A more concerning issue for fitness enthusiasts was the miscalculation or complete absence of certain health metrics, with the Exertion score being a primary example. This data is crucial for understanding the intensity of your workouts and overall daily strain.

The Fix is Here: How to Get Your Watch Back on Track

The solution for the missing health data is a new update to the companion Zepp app. Amazfit has stated that it is working on a way to recalculate the lost measurements and will provide further details on the original Reddit post.

The good news is that the rollout has already begun. The Zepp app version 9.13.7 is now available for download for iOS users on the Apple App Store. For Android users, keep a close eye on your updates, as the fixed version is expected to hit the Google Play Store very soon.

This update appears to affect a wide range of the brand's wearables, including popular models and accessories like the Helio Strap (currently available for $99.99 on Amazon).

It's a reassuring and swift response from Amazfit, highlighting the importance of robust software in our increasingly connected health gadgets. If you've been experiencing these glitches, updating your Zepp app should be your first step to getting your health and fitness tracking back to normal.
