LAS VEGAS — The future of home cleaning just got a whole lot more comprehensive. At CES 2026, smart home innovator Narwal, already renowned for its Freo series of vacuum-and-mop robots, is dramatically expanding its ecosystem. The company announced three targeted new products designed to tackle every corner of the home, from floors to furniture, signaling a strategic move to become a one-stop shop for automated cleanliness.

Meet the New Lineup: Flow 2, V50, and U50

Gone are the days of a one-device-fits-all approach. Narwal’s 2026 strategy is about specialization, introducing the Narwal Flow 2 robotic vacuum, the Narwal V50 cordless stick vacuum, and the niche-but-brilliant Narwal U50 mattress vacuum cleaner.

1. The Narwal Flow 2: The All-Seeing Floor Custodian

Moving beyond its D-shaped predecessors, the Flow 2 adopts a classic disc shape but packs a seriously upgraded brain. Its party piece remains the effective FlowWash mopping system, which uses water heated to 140°F (60°C) and a reverse-rolling mop head to scrub floors clean. But the real leap forward is in intelligence.

Powered by an upgraded cloud-connected NarGPT AI and dual front-facing FHD cameras, the Flow 2 promises object recognition that’s more than just obstacle avoidance. Narwal claims it can now identify what it’s seeing, allowing for more nuanced behavior: giving a wider berth to a precarious shoe pile, optimizing its cleaning path around a dining chair set, or even alerting you via AI Floor Tag if it spots your keys or a earring on the floor.

Practical modes include a Baby Care setting for quiet, late-night cleaning and a Pet Care mode that combines deep cleaning of high-traffic areas with a remote video chat function to check on your furry friends. It’s a robot vacuum that doesn’t just clean—it watches over your home.

The Narwal U50 mattress vacuum cleaner heats and irradiates mattresses while picking up mites.

2. The Narwal V50: The Featherweight Powerhouse

For quick pick-ups and above-floor cleaning, Narwal introduces the V50 cordless vacuum. Tipping the scales at a mere 3.1 lbs. (1.4 kg), it’s built for ease of use. Despite its light weight, it delivers a robust 210 air watts of suction. A clever dirt-detection headlight automatically adjusts suction power when it detects concentrated debris.

User-centric design choices abound: the motor and dust cup are positioned high on the handle to reduce wrist strain, the handle itself is telescopic, and the brushroll is engineered to resist hair tangles. The cherry on top is its all-in-one docking station that not only charges its dual batteries but also automatically empties the dust cup into a large 3.2-quart base bin. It’s a full cordless solution without the mess.

3. The Narwal U50: The Deep-Sleep Specialist

Perhaps the most novel announcement is the Narwal U50, a dedicated handheld mattress vacuum cleaner. Narwal is targeting the invisible world of dust mites and allergens where we spend a third of our lives. The U50 uses a combination of 16 kPa suction60,000 taps per minute of vibration to dislodge debris, and a dual-sanitization system of UVC light and 137°F (58°C) heated ironing to purportedly eliminate mites and bacteria on the surface.

A Glimpse of the Future: And There’s More…

Narwal also teased a fourth, unnamed product: a broom-style cordless vacuum with 140AW suction and its own auto-empty dock, hinting at an even broader future lineup. Pricing and availability for all new models are still under wraps, but when they launch, you’ll likely find them in the Narwal store on Amazon.

This triple launch positions Narwal not just as a robotics company, but as a holistic cleaning brand. By addressing floors, quick clean-ups, and even bedding with dedicated, intelligent tools, they’re making a compelling case for a seamlessly clean, and smart, home ecosystem.

Narwal has also teased an unnamed broom-style vacuum.
