Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Kenny Sun have confirmed that the mobile edition will arrive on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store on March 12, 2026.
The announcement, shared across social media, brings the game's unique blend of survival, base-building, and "ball-fusing" combat to a whole new audience. In a move that breaks from some mobile gaming conventions, Ball x Pit Mobile Edition will launch with a "try before you buy" model. According to the official post on X by BALL x PIT and Bluesky by Devolver Digital, anyone can download and experience the game for free with absolutely no advertisements. If they enjoy the hunt for riches and the strategic base-building, they can unlock the full game permanently with a single $9.99 in-app purchase.
This pricing strategy is notably player-friendly. For comparison, the game launched on other platforms at $14.99. However, console players can still find a deal; PS5 owners, for instance, can grab it on the PlayStation Store for $11.99 until February 26.
