After months of speculation and a steady stream of leaks, Samsung has officially put an end to the rumors. The tech giant has confirmed the launch date for its highly anticipated next-generation mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57.
According to an official announcement from Samsung India, the devices are scheduled to debut on March 25 at 5:30 pm IST (12:00 pm GMT) . The news comes directly from the company’s social media channels, signaling that the wait for the successors to the popular Galaxy A35 and A56 is nearly over.
The official confirmation dropped via Samsung India’s X (formerly Twitter) account earlier today. You can see the original announcement here:

A Major Leap for the Galaxy A57
The spotlight is expected to shine brightest on the Galaxy A57, which is rumored to bring significant hardware upgrades over the outgoing Galaxy A56.
Leaks suggest the device will feature a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a buttery smooth 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring scrolling and gaming feel fluid. Under the hood, Samsung is reportedly moving away from the previous generation’s chipset to the new Exynos 1680 processor, which is expected to deliver noticeable gains in performance and power efficiency.
Photography enthusiasts will likely appreciate the camera setup, which is rumored to include a 50 MP primary sensor, a 12 MP ultrawide lens, and a 5 MP macro shooter. Perhaps one of the most practical upgrades comes in the battery department. While the 5,000 mAh battery capacity remains the same as its predecessor, the Galaxy A57 is tipped to support 45W wired fast charging—a significant bump that would bring it closer to flagship charging speeds.
What to Expect from the Galaxy A37
The Galaxy A37 isn’t being left in the dust. Leaks indicate it will boast a slightly larger 6.7-inch AMOLED display, also supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to share the same robust battery life, likely featuring a similar 5,000 mAh cell.
However, to differentiate the lineup, the A37 will reportedly utilize the older Exynos 1480 chipset and feature an 8 MP ultrawide camera instead of the 12 MP version found on its sibling.
On the software front, Samsung is continuing its commitment to longevity. Both handsets are expected to ship with Android 16 out of the box, layered with One UI 8.5. True to Samsung’s recent policy, users can likely look forward to six years of software updates, ensuring these devices remain secure and feature-rich for the long haul.
A Crucial Release for the Mid-Range Market
Even if Samsung opts to skip a flashy, in-person global event in favor of a digital unveiling, the launch of the A-series is always a critical moment for the company. These devices are consistently among the best-selling smartphones globally, often serving as the entry point into the Samsung ecosystem for millions of users.
Upon release, the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 will find themselves in a fiercely competitive arena. They are set to go head-to-head with the iPhone 17e, Apple’s latest bid for the mid-range market, as well as the Google Pixel 10a—which is known for its superior camera software—and the stylish Nothing Phone 4a series.
With the launch date now locked in, all eyes are on March 25 to see if Samsung’s latest mid-rangers can set a new standard for the category.
