Dreame now also offers two budget-friendly security cameras.

The brand best known for its robot vacuums is now taking on indoor security cameras – and the early-bird pricing is hard to ignore.

Dreame has built a loyal following over the past few years by delivering feature-packed robot vacuums, cordless stick vacs, and even smart hair dryers at competitive prices. Now, the aggressive Chinese manufacturer is expanding its smart home ecosystem in a new direction: security cameras.

Today, Dreame officially announced the launch of the Navo Care 1 InCam and the more affordable Navo Care 1 SE InCam – two indoor security cameras that aim to punch well above their weight class. And for a limited time, early adopters can grab them at a significant discount.

Launch Pricing: Save €10 Until May 12

Dreame is launching both models directly through its official website, and the introductory offer is straightforward: €10 off each camera until May 12.

  • Dreame Navo Care 1 InCam  ~~€49~~  €39
  • Dreame Navo Care 1 SE InCam – ~~€39~~ → €29

That puts the high-end 2K model at just under €40, while the Full HD SE version lands at an impulse-buy-friendly €29. Considering the feature set, those are aggressive price points even before the discount.

Dreame Navo Care 1 InCam: 2K, Full 360° Panning, and Smart AI

The star of the launch is the Navo Care 1 InCam. It packs a 4-megapixel sensor capable of recording at 2,880 x 1,600 pixels – a true 2K resolution that delivers sharp, detailed footage. But resolution is only part of the story.

Where many budget indoor cameras force you to choose between wide-angle lenses or mechanical pan/tilt, Dreame’s offering gives you 360° panning and 95° tilting remotely via the app. That means you can sweep an entire room without physically touching the camera. Want to check on your pet by the window, then spin around to see the front door? A few swipes in the app, and it’s done.

Key Features at a Glance

  • 2K video (2880×1620) – 4MP clarity
  • 360° pan & 95° tilt – motorized, app-controlled
  • AI detection – distinguishes people, pets, and unusual sounds
  • Physical privacy cover – slides shut for peace of mind
  • Two-way audio – talk and listen through the camera
  • Dual-band Wi-Fi – supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz
  • Alexa & Google Assistant – voice control and smart display integration
  • Local storage – microSD card slot (card not included)
  • Night vision – infrared (black/white, not color)

Dreame has also included real-time push notifications for motion, sound, or AI-triggered events. And unlike some budget cameras that require a cloud subscription for basic functionality, the Navo Care 1 InCam works perfectly well with just a local microSD card – though we expect Dreame may offer optional cloud plans later.

Navo Care 1 SE InCam: Same Smarts, Slightly Lower Resolution

For those who want to save an extra €10 or cover multiple rooms on a tighter budget, the Navo Care 1 SE InCam is a compelling alternative. It shares nearly the same DNA as its bigger sibling, with one main trade-off:

  • 3-megapixel sensor – records at 1,920 x 1,080 (Full HD) instead of 2K
  • All other features remain identical: 360° pan, 95° tilt, AI person/pet/sound detection, physical privacy shutter, two-way audio, dual-band Wi-Fi, and voice assistant support.

In real-world use, most users would be hard-pressed to spot the difference between 1080p and 2K on a smartphone notification or a 5-inch app preview. But if you plan to zoom in on footage or view on a large monitor, the extra resolution of the standard InCam is worth the €10 premium.

Both models support wall, ceiling, or tabletop mounting – a nice touch that gives you flexibility in rental apartments or permanent installations.

Who Are These Cameras For?

Dreame is clearly targeting two types of buyers:

  1. First-time security camera users who want a no-subscription, easy-to-install indoor camera for keeping an eye on pets, kids, or just checking if they left the oven on.
  2. Existing Dreame ecosystem owners – if you already have a Dreame robot vacuum or cordless stick vac, adding a Navo Care camera keeps you inside a single app ecosystem.

The physical privacy cover is a standout feature at this price point. Many cameras in the €30-€50 range rely on software-based “privacy mode” (essentially just turning off the stream), but Dreame includes a motorized or manual shutter that physically blocks the lens. For bedrooms or home offices, that’s a major peace-of-mind upgrade.

Any Missing Features?

There are a couple of compromises worth noting. Night vision is infrared only, so you won’t get color night vision (starlight mode) like on some premium Eufy or Reolink models. That’s fair at this price – most sub-€50 cameras stick to IR. Also, Dreame hasn’t announced HomeKit integration, though Alexa and Google are fully supported.

Another potential question: cloud storage. The product pages currently emphasize local microSD recording, but no subscription pricing has been revealed. We’ve reached out to Dreame for clarification on whether optional cloud plans will be available at launch. For now, factor in the cost of a microSD card (32GB or 64GB is plenty for continuous recording with motion events).

Early Verdict: A Strong Entry from Dreame

Dreame isn’t the first brand to cross from vacuums into security – Eufy (Anker) and Roborock have done similar expansions. But the Navo Care 1 InCam and SE arrive with a clear value proposition: full mechanical pan/tilt, AI detection, local storage, and a physical privacy shutter for under €50 (or under €40 with the launch discount).

If you’ve been waiting for a no-frills indoor camera that doesn’t nickel-and-dime you with subscription fees, the Navo Care series looks like a smart buy – especially during the €10-off promotion ending May 12.
