The wait is finally over for mobile gamers. Aniimo has officially landed on smartphones, bringing with it the game’s first major content drop since its PC and console debut back on September 16. Pawprint Studio has rolled out Version 1.1, titled "Setting Out in Pursuit of the Wind: Part I," across all platforms.
To celebrate the mobile launch and the downtime required for maintenance, the developers are offering a thank-you gift. Anyone who registered an account prior to the update has been granted 500 Glimmer as compensation. Whether you are jumping in on your phone or continuing your journey on PC, here is everything you need to know about the new content.
Hunt the Wind with Irisalis
The centerpiece of this update is a brand-new Legendary Journey chapter. Starting September 25, players who have reached the Student I rank can begin the hunt for Irisalis.
This isn't a simple catch; it involves a new gameplay loop. You will need to collect a new currency called Iris Petals, which are gathered on a weekly limit. These petals are used to craft the Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis, opening a Rift Space where the creature resides. If you manage to befriend Irisalis, you can craft a second item—the Legendary Aniipod: Windchaser's Departure. This guarantees a successful catch with perfect innate potential and a sparkling form, plus exclusive seasonal perks.

High Risk, High Reward: Operation Egg Heist
If you are looking for a challenge, Operation: Egg Heist has introduced a punishing new difficulty. Chaos Mode unlocks on September 24 for players who reach Tier IV (Elite Egg Seeker).
Entry requires a Chaos Ticket, but the rewards are significantly boosted. Drop rates for Prismana Aniimo Eggs and Prismatic Collectibles are increased, alongside a chance to find rare Secret Collectibles. However, Pawprint Studio warns that escape conditions are strict. This is a "high-risk" activity, and the devs strongly recommend tackling it with a group rather than going solo.
New Weekly Co-Op: Holo-Battle Interlink
Teamwork makes the dream work in the new Holo-Battle Interlink mode. This weekly co-op event features three separate routes per cycle, each culminating in a unique Alpha encounter and environmental twist.
Before battle, players can choose buffs; in co-op, the team leader makes the call. The mode is designed for replayability, and rewards scale with a combined Star Rank tracked across all three routes. There are also separate Support Rewards for helping other players improve their rank. Just remember, these progress trackers reset weekly.
Limited-Time Events
Rounding out the Version 1.1 update are two limited-time events: Glamour Star and an Aniimo Discovery research chain. These events offer players more ways to earn rewards and explore the world.
