| Arknights Endfield reveals Dreamscape of Wind and Snow. |
Gryphline has officially launched the second half of Arknights: Endfield Version 1.5, and it’s a substantial one. Titled “Dreamscape of Wind and Snow,” the update expands the Wuling region, introduces a city built around a repeating time loop, and gives every player a free 5-star Operator named Purrchena.
If you’ve been exploring Endfield’s version 1.5 content, this next chunk is where things get especially puzzle-heavy — and surprisingly generous.
Suiming: A City Stuck in a 15-Minute Loop
The headline attraction of part two is Suiming, a city-sized puzzle zone designed around a 15-minute time loop. The city changes as the Blight Tide rises and falls, shifting water levels and revealing new alleys, rooftops, and flooded pathways that weren’t accessible before. Just when you think you’ve mapped out a route, the water moves again.
The loop resets every 15 minutes, but here’s the important part: your progress doesn’t vanish. Bell components you collect, clues you uncover, and map progress you make all carry over permanently into each new cycle. So even when time snaps back, you’re still moving forward.
Before you can reach Suiming, you’ll need to complete the exploration mission Bell of Recollection. Once inside, a separate guide event called Echoing Bell of an Old City gives you extra goals to chase. That includes unlocking teleport points, opening protocol crates, and finishing a set of missions within the zone. Do that, and you’ll earn 1,200 Oroberyl and a Mark of Perseverance.

Purrchena Is Free — and She’s Event-Only
Alongside Suiming, the Purry Big Feline! Rawr! event is handing every player a complete 5-star frontline unit without spending a single Headhunting permit.
That Operator is Purrchena, a 5-star Physical Defender who fights with a sword. Unlike most new Operators, she isn’t being added to the standard Headhunting banners, which means this event is the only way to obtain her. If you skip it, you miss her.
The event also gives you her recommended 5-star Sword, Dessert Moment, with six copies included — enough to fully refine the weapon. On top of that, completing the event’s missions provides five Operator Tokens, letting you max out Purrchena’s Potential nodes at no cost. For a free unit, that’s a lot of value packed into one event.
What Else Arrived in Version 1.5?
Part two follows the September 2 launch of Dreamscape of Wind and Snow’s first half, which introduced the 6-star Operator Typhoeus and sent players into the Snowy Forest near Yinglung Pass.
That earlier stretch also debuted the RE-Factor Headhunting system, a new banner structure with its own pity mechanics. Progress on RE-Factor banners carries over to later banners of the same type, which should make future pulls a little less painful to plan around.
Version 1.5 also opened the Virtuality season of Echoes of War. Later, alongside the September 24 content, the Illusion season of Echoes of War arrived, along with a rerun of Operator Yvonne through a RE-Factor banner.
Arknights: Endfield is developed by Mountain Contour and published by Gryphline as a free-to-play spin-off of the original Arknights. With a time-loop city, a free 5-star Defender, and new banner mechanics, Version 1.5’s second half gives players plenty of reasons to dive back into the Wuling region.
