Epson is giving home cinema fans more ways to step into 4K laser projection. The company is expanding its home theater range with three new models—the LS5000, LS6000, and LS7500—positioned beneath the flagship LS11000. The LS11000 isn’t going anywhere; it stays in the lineup at $4,500. The new arrivals, however, are designed to make laser illumination and 4K resolution more accessible for people building a dedicated theater or upgrading a living-room setup.
Epson LS5000: The New Entry Point
At $2,000, the LS5000 is the most affordable of the group. It delivers an estimated 2,500 ISO lumens and includes two HDMI inputs. Its throw ratio spans 1.32 to 2.15, so it can project a 120-inch image from roughly 11.5 feet away. Epson also includes manual lens shift and Bluetooth connectivity, which lets viewers pair headphones for private listening—handy for late-night movies without waking the house.
Epson LS6000: More Brightness for $2,200
Step up to the LS6000, priced at $2,200, and you get most of the same core features as the LS5000, but with a higher maximum brightness of 3,400 lumens. Epson notes that the LS6000 and its new siblings have lower contrast ratios than the premium LS11000. Even so, the LS6000 lands in a competitive spot against several recent DLP projectors, offering the color accuracy associated with Epson’s LCD technology while making a small trade-off in black-level performance.

Epson LS7500: Shorter Throw, Flexible Placement
The LS7500 rounds out the new trio as a shorter-throw option. It is capable of 3,500 lumens and uses a throw ratio between 1.0 and 1.3, allowing it to cast a 120-inch image from just 8.8 feet away. That shorter distance makes it a better fit for dedicated home theater rooms where space is tighter, rather than a replacement for a traditional ultra-short-throw console projector.
Availability
Epson says the new 4K laser projectors will begin shipping to retailers later this month. For buyers who want Epson’s laser projection technology without jumping straight to the LS11000’s $4,500 price, the LS5000, LS6000, and LS7500 give the company a broader set of options—and give home theater shoppers more ways to match a projector to their room, budget, and brightness needs.
