| New GTA 6 screenshots show Jason and Lucia in a diner, reminding fans of Pulp Fiction. |
If you’ve been hungry for more GTA 6 details, Rockstar has served up another helping. After the recent batch of screenshots in Game Informer’s cover story, LOVE Magazine has shared several new images of its own—plus exclusive tidbits about Jason and Lucia. The magazine’s next issue arrives on October 5 and includes an interview with Rockstar about the duo’s story. For Issue 27, the team discusses how they built a classic Bonnie-and-Clyde-style tale in a world driven by money and ambition. A new Instagram post already gives fans a taste, pairing fresh screenshots with comments from the game’s writers.
Rockstar on writing Jason and Lucia
Lucia is chasing a better life, and she doesn’t seem willing to let anyone stand in her way. Jason, on the other hand, feels more like a man shaped by the circumstances around him. Rockstar writer Elizabeth Gauvey-Kern calls both characters tough, but also vulnerable and flawed. Sometimes they make the right choice; sometimes they don’t. A big part of their journey will be learning how to balance each other out. Writer Alexa D’Agostino adds: “When you are focusing on writing a fully realised person with their own wants, you’re going to get something perfectly imperfect—with clichés, but also undeniably real.”

Fans spot a Pulp Fiction homage
Over on Reddit, the new screenshots are getting even more attention than the story details. The diner scene, in particular, has fans comparing it to Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction. Jason and Lucia—the leads of GTA 6, which is available for pre-order on Amazon—even look a lot like Pumpkin and Honey Bunny, the diner-robbing couple played by Tim Roth and Amanda Plummer.
Jason’s outfit only adds fuel to the theory. His short-sleeved shirt over a black T-shirt is strikingly close to what Tim Roth wears as Pumpkin in that famous diner scene. And because Pumpkin and Honey Bunny end up robbing the restaurant, the guns in Jason and Lucia’s hands make the comparison even more interesting. “Looks like Lucia and Jason are paying for their meal with bullets,” joked Reddit user u/PowerfulBreath9241.
Whether the screenshot actually shows a diner robbery—or whether Rockstar intentionally slipped in a Pulp Fiction nod—remains unclear. But for now, fans have plenty to talk about.
