Revolutionary Dual-Fan Cooling System
Honor has been aggressively teasing the WIN 2's cooling capabilities, and the numbers are genuinely impressive. The gaming phone features an industry-first dual-fan stereo cooling architecture, as confirmed by Honor's official flagship store on Weibo. A vertical cross-flow fan spins at an astonishing 20,000 RPM, while a secondary side fan reaches 31,000 RPM. According to Honor's laboratory testing, this setup delivers 284% more total airflow than the previous generation and can drop body temperature by up to 10°C in just 50 seconds. The design has also earned SGS certification for full-domain high-efficiency cooling.
Leaked Specifications Paint a Flagship Picture
Reliable Weibo tipster 搞机阿森 (Gaoji Asen) has shared what appears to be the complete specification sheet for the WIN 2 series, as detailed in a recent Weibo post. The flagship Honor WIN 2 (model BRM-AN00) is reported to pack the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, paired with a massive 10,100mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 80W wireless charging.
The display is a 6.89-inch flat 2K OLED panel with a blazing 185Hz refresh rate. Camera duties fall to a Samsung S5KHPE 200MP main sensor (1/1.4-inch), an OmniVision OV13B10 13MP ultra-wide, and a Sony IMX816 50MP front-facing camera. Dual 1216 speakers with an 8-bit large sound chamber round out the multimedia experience.
The tipster also leaked pricing estimates for the entire WIN 2 lineup:
- Honor WIN 2: Starting at CNY 5,499 for 12GB + 256GB, up to CNY 8,499 for 16GB LPDDR6 + 1TB UFS 5.0
- Honor WIN RT2: Starting at CNY 3,999 (Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 12,070mAh battery, 90W charging)
- Honor WIN Turbo2: Starting at CNY 2,999 (Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, 12,070mAh battery, 90W charging)
Market Context and Availability
The original Honor WIN launched in China in December 2025 with a single cooling fan and a 10,000mAh battery. The WIN 2 represents a significant leap forward in thermal management, addressing one of the biggest pain points for mobile gamers. However, as with its predecessor, Honor has not confirmed global availability. Given that the WIN series has remained exclusive to mainland China, international buyers will likely need to import the device.
The October 21 launch event, dubbed the "Honor WIN Gaming Universe Carnival," will stream live and include an immediate first sale following the presentation. For competitive mobile gamers seeking uncompromised sustained performance, the Honor WIN 2 is shaping up to be a serious contender—provided you can get your hands on one.
