At the ongoing Xiaomi Developers Conference in Beijing, CEO Li Jin announced some interesting information.

Among the information is the intention of Xiaomi to provide 5G technology for its smartphones, and the Chinese technology giant unveiled Super Charge Turbo technology with a power of 100 watts, which will reach the phones coming Xiaomi.

What is Super Charge Turbo?

During the conference, Xiaomi showed an explanatory video showing one of its smartphones with a 4000 mAh battery and using 100W turbocharging technology, it took 17 minutes to fully charge the battery.

This means that the Super Charge Turbo is capable of charging Xiaomi's flagship phones such as the Redmi Note 8, 7, Mi Note 10 and Redmi K20 in just 20 minutes.

The Chinese company said its new Super Charge Turbo technology is coupled with a high-voltage charging pump with 9-fold charging protection.

Earlier this year, China's vivo unveiled its 120-watt charging technology that claims to be capable of charging a 4,000mAh battery in just 13 minutes.

Finally, the Chinese company Xiaomi did not mention the upcoming smartphones that will get the new charging technology with a power of 100 watts, but I believe that the phone Redmi K30 will be the first phones that will work with that technology followed by the phone Mi Mix 4.
