Facebook acquires a virtual reality game company

Facebook today announced that it has a startup that specializes in virtual reality to increase its influence in this market.

Facebook came to Oculus in 2014 by taking Oculus for $ 2 billion. The company claims to have acquired Sanzaru Games, which developed Asgard's Wrath, one of the most popular virtual reality games (Oculus). Facebook Oculus Rift.

The transaction details have not yet been released, but Facebook has announced that the startup will continue to work through offices in the United States and Canada. Sanzrau Games was founded 13 years ago and has developed four Rift glasses so far, including: Asgards Rage and Marvel Powers United VR. Oculus partly funded the development of these games. The startup also develops mobile games.

Facebook is believed to have acquired Beat Games last November, and now (Sanzrau Games) have shown an interest in developing virtual reality games for glasses. The company has invested billions of dollars in virtual reality.
