Report: Samsung plans to launch a reduced version of Galaxy S20

A new report on the website (Sam Mobile) indicates that Samsung plans to announce a simplified version of its Galaxy S20 smartphone, similar to the Galaxy S10 Lite last year.

The South Korean company launched the Galaxy S20 earlier this year. In recent months, some people have talked about Samsung's intention to release a simplified version of the phone series.

Sam Mobile said: According to sources, a new version of the Galaxy S20 is under development. The global market model is SM-G780 and the American market model is SM-G781.

According to the website, SM-G780 is sold in global markets with or without 5G networks support, while SM-G781 is only available with 5G networks support.

The site stated that it does not yet know the specifications of the phone, but it hopes that the internal storage capacity will not be less than 128 GB and that it will be used with One UI 2.5, which is an Android user interface.

Since Samsung launched the Galaxy S10 Lite with a Snapdragon 855 processor, which is identical to the Galaxy S10 in some markets, Sam Mobile assumes that the Galaxy S20 Lite will be equipped with a Snapdragon 865 processor.
