The WD 4 TB game player can be used with the Playstation 4-WDBM1M0040BBK-WESN external hard drive.
If your PS4 console hard drive capacity is insufficient to beat the infinite new world, you can expand the capacity to 4TB by using the WD game player. Installation is easy. Simply use a USB 3.0 cable to connect the WD game player to the PS4 console. In quick coordination, the game will start soon.
Anyone with Xbox One can prove that all the games you need to play must be installed on a hard drive with very limited space, which is annoying. It's the perfect choice to keep adding games to your collection without worrying about staying on the hard drive or dying or playing Russian roulette with games currently installed to make room for new games. With 2 TB of storage space, I can easily install all the games with enough storage space. This page and other test reports stated that once Xbox One is connected, you can use it to locate the external drive and put instructions on the screen. I didn't receive this explanation and I had to check how to manually configure the reader:
1. Click on the (Start) menu and select "Settings".
2. Select "Storage Management"
3. Select the storage device and then "Game and Application Format".
Once the format is complete, you can (hopefully) go to the "Games and Applications" section and find that the storage space has increased dramatically by 2 TB. You can use the game management feature to transfer games to two directions on local and external drives. During installation, you can select "External" as the primary installation target.
