| Samsung announces Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02 |
Samsung today (Tuesday) officially announced two new phones, the Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02, which will be the first phones in the Galaxy A series in 2021.
Galaxy A12:
The Galaxy A12 will be the successor to the Galaxy A11 that was introduced in March of last year. The camera and battery have been improved many times.
This phone contains a 5000 mAh battery, while the Galaxy A11 has 4000 mAh and the two batteries support 15W fast charging technology.
Galaxy A12 offers four rear cameras; The main resolution is 48 megapixels, the second resolution is used for ultra-wide angle shots of 5 megapixels, and the third camera is for 2 megapixel deep shots. The fourth is for photographing close-up objects with a resolution of 2 megapixels.
The phone has a 6.5-inch HD + screen and an 8-megapixel front camera. The phone is equipped with an octa-core processor with a frequency of 2.3 GHz. Although Samsung hasn't identified a processor, it has to be the Helio P35.
Samsung has also not specified the Android OS version of the Galaxy A12, which offers 3, 4 or 6 GB of RAM.
It also provides an internal storage capacity of 32, 64 or 128 GB. The memory can be expanded up to 1 TB via a microSD external memory card.
The side button of the phone contains the fingerprint sensor and is available in four colors: black, blue, white and red.
Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy A12 from January 2021. The 64 GB option costs 179 euros and the 128 GB option costs 199 euros.
Galaxy A02s:
Another mobile phone, the Galaxy A02s, is the successor to the Galaxy A01 that was introduced last December. It has a 6.5-inch HD + screen and a 5-megapixel front camera.
This phone has an octa-core processor with a frequency of 1.8 GHz and it is called Snapdragon 450 because it contains 3 GB of memory and 32 GB of internal storage capacity and can be expanded to 1 TB via an external microSD memory card.
Galaxy A02s offers a triple rear camera with a 13MP primary lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth lens.
The phone contains a 5000 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging technology.
Galaxy A02 will be available from February 2021 in black and white colors from 150 €.
