Toyota is preparing to showcase batteries that can convert electric cars

A new report shows that Toyota is preparing to launch an electric car prototype with a solid battery next year. The electric vehicle can be fully charged in 10 minutes and can go 500 km on a single charge with minimal safety concerns.

Toyota Motor began researching solid batteries in 2017 and plans to sell them as electric vehicles in early 2020.

Toyota solid state batteries will be essential for electric cars and the entire industry.

This technology is expected to provide a potential remedy for all the shortcomings of conventional lithium-ion electric vehicles, including a relatively short travel distance on a single charge and charging time.

Toyota plans to be the first to sell solid-battery electric cars in the early 2000s.

And compared to Toyota electric cars, which are powered by conventional lithium-ion batteries under the same conditions, the mileage for electric vehicles developed by Toyota will more than double without affecting the interior.

Solid-state batteries are expected to be a viable alternative to lithium-ion batteries as innovations can reduce the risk of fire and double the energy density, which can measure the weight a battery can provide

It takes about 10 minutes to charge an electric car with a steady battery, reducing the charging time by two-thirds.

Toyota is the first worldwide with more than 1,000 patents for solid state batteries. Nissan plans to develop solid-state batteries for start-up electric cars by 2028.

Japanese manufacturers (such as Sony and Panasonic) took the lead in introducing commercial products for car batteries, but Chinese competitors have appeared since the late 2000s.

As the world is eliminating carbon dioxide emissions, electric cars will grow in popularity.

The Japanese government is promoting the development of domestic solid-state batteries in the hope that most of the auto industry's energy technologies will depend on China if the status quo continues.

It should be noted that Toyota has not yet launched electric cars outside of China. The Japanese company announced earlier this year that it plans to launch an electric SUV in 2021, saying it is the first step toward battery-powered electric cars. .
