Microsoft offers the standard Office apps for the iPad

Microsoft updated the Unified Office mobile app for iOS to version 2.46 and supports iPadOS on all Apple iPads.

Since its launch of the iPhone in February 2020, the company has updated the iPad version to a single standard app.

Microsoft Office for iPad is now a single app that includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote in a standardized format.

The new Office app brings together Word, Excel, and PowerPoint into one, and users can create Word, Excel or other documents from one home screen.

Microsoft first launched the program for iOS and Android in 2019, and the company has gradually improved it. However, it still works in the framework and not in a fully optimized iPad app.

With this new update, Office is now a complete iPadOS app with access to all the standard tablet variants of the Microsoft Productivity Suite.

The app also includes some useful tools that are mainly used for mobile tasks.

This includes the ability to quickly create PDFs or sign documents, convert images into text and tables, and perform faster operations.

The software giant has simplified its mobile office products with this unique application. However, standalone Word, Excel, and PowerPoint apps are still available on the App Store and are updated regularly.

It is not known if Microsoft intends to remove these standalone apps, which do not appear to have the features that the new standard edition lacks.

While the major Office apps have taken some time to work on the iPad, Microsoft recently added iPad-specific features to its productivity apps, including support for a modern mouse and trackpad.

IPad Air, iPad® and iPad mini users can use the app for free. However, a Microsoft 365 subscription is required to get the most out of all sharing or collaboration features. IPad Pro users need a paid subscription to edit or create documents.

In the new app, the company offers a variety of subscription options starting at $ 6.99 per month.
