It is said that Apple's AirPower Wireless Charger has the unique function of charging iPhone, Smartwatch and AirPods at the same time. However, the company canceled the plan in March 2019 on the grounds that the product was struggling to regain its viability.
We've since seen AirPower and MagSafe batteries from Apple. But now, for the first time, an Apple prototype collector has a working AirPower device.
Giulio Zumpetti, 28, from Italy, said he was able to purchase a prototype AirPower device from a Chinese e-waste source.
He explained that the device is missing all the shells and that this heavy stainless steel chassis appears.
In the photo, you can see the AirPower Mat with the iPhone prototype with 22 coils on the front and 22 control circuits on the back.
For the AirPower prototype to work, it must be paired with a special iPhone prototype to activate the file.
Zumpety stated that the device is not suitable for production machines. However, so far it has managed to deliver two prototypes of the devices at the same time. The device shipped in December and can interact with it via a serial Lightning cable.
“This is a composite prototype, not plug-and-play,” Zompetti said. When I plug in the Lightning serial cable, I see some letters in the log. So after I set the baud rate I was able to read an easy to understand log.
As part of the device architecture, there is also an interactive shell for interacting with AirPower.

With Apple's canceled AirPower Mat, you should be able to place your device anywhere on it, thanks to multiple charging coils, without having to find the exact location.
However, various reports indicate that Apple encountered overheating issues during the development process. Zombie said I can't reproduce this problem. But I still can not say that it does not exist.
Zombie is used to collect prototypes for Apple devices. He's been collecting equipment since March 2018, including rare prototypes of the first Apple Watch.
Zumpetti said that since then my main passion has been to find the best prototype. To date, it has collected about 35 units, including a variety of rare iPhone and iPod models.
This enthusiasm led Zombie to visit the engineer to help him repair the old machine. He said it is always about finding damaged or incomplete units and repairing them to bring them back to life. The all-new AirPower is one of the best prototypes I've found so far.
