Asus has unveiled a handful of new laptops with content makers in mind.

Designers and illustrators who have used ScreenPad in every laptop for the past few years have found the expansion and functionality of the latest release attractive.

The company announced the launch of the ProArt StudioBook 16 OLED and ProArt StudioBook 16 Pro OLED, the first two 16-inch laptops to feature 4K OLED HDR displays.

According to the company, these displays cover 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and offer a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 (which is not uncommon with 4K OLED panels).

Notebooks are for professional content creators working on color-sensitive apps.

Both devices come with a new one called the Asus Dial, which is a physical scroll wheel on the left side of the keyboard.

User can adjust many parameters in Adobe application by customizing this controller. That includes ASUS After Effects, Photoshop, Photoshop Lightroom Classic, and Premiere Pro.

ProArt StudioBook 16 OLED and ProArt StudioBook 16 Pro OLED will start at $1,999 and $2,499, respectively, in Q4.

Perhaps the difference between the two models is in the slide. The ProArt StudioBook 16 Pro OLED can be equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5000 H-series mobile processor or an Intel Xeon processor and an Nvidia RTX A2000 or Nvidia RTX A5000 GPU.

The ProArt StudioBook 16 OLED is equipped with a Ryzen 5000H or Intel Core i7 chip and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 or Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU.

The VivoBook series is also equipped with an OLED display, and some have a digital version of the Asus Dial built into the touchpad. 14-, 15- and 16-inch models start at $749.

Creators' new ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED will also hit the market in Q4 (price: $2,799). It uses the unique ASUS auxiliary touch screen on the keyboard surface.

A single-screen OLED version of the ZenBook Pro 15 is also available, with a starting price of $1,469.

ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED is equipped with an Intel Core i9 processor and an RTX 3070 GPU, and ZenBook Pro 15 OLED is equipped with a Ryzen 5000 processor and an Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti GPU.

Professional laptops from ExpertBook are also equipped with OLED panels. The new ExpertBook B5 OLED and Convertible B5 Flip OLED Convertible both use 11th generation Intel processors. Prices start at $1,299.

The company entered the wireless market last year with the ZenBook 13 OLED. It offers display technology that was once a luxury item for just $800.

After Samsung announced that it will mass produce OLED panels for laptops this year. It's only a matter of time before this screen hits a smaller model.
