DJI could change the world of aerial photography by bringing out a drone with a much longer battery life and two cameras instead of one.

Leaks indicate that the Mavic 3 Pro will be available in November. There seem to be some significant improvements compared to the Mavic 2 Pro, which launched three years ago, or even the Mavic Air 2S, which was launched earlier this year.

DJI's full-size drones can only fly in the air for half an hour before needing to replace or recharge their batteries. However, information shows that the flight time of this new aircraft is 46 minutes.

There's additional hardware on board: a second, complete camera (with its own sensor and lens), so you get the zoom and wide-angle functionality in the same drone.

In 2018, you have to choose between the Mavic 2 Pro with a 1-inch sensor and adjustable aperture or the Mavic 2 Zoom with a 24-48mm telephoto lens. But the Mavic 3 Pro can combine the best features of both aircraft.

First of all, the aircraft has a larger, four-quarters sensor behind the camera measuring 24mm, f/2.8 and f/11 aperture. Second, the telephoto lens has been expanded to 160mm in front of the new camera 1/2-inch secondary sensor and provides a 15-degree field of view .

The telephoto lens does not shrink on its own. However, if you switch between the two cameras, you will get 6x magnification. These two sensors are 20MP and 12MP respectively, and when you talk about still photos, they seem to provide 5.2K video.

It appears that like the DJI Mini drone, the drone can also be charged directly via a USB-C cable without having to remove the battery first.

In terms of weight, there appears to be only a slight increase from the 907g of the Mavic 2 Pro to the 920g of the upcoming new model.

As with the Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom, there appear to be two more models. Mavic 3 Pro and Mavic 3 Ciné.

The Mavic 3 Cine model has a built-in SSD and a gigabit per second data cable. And the new version of DJI Smart Controller. It has a built-in display and the optimized OcuSync video transmission distance is 15 kilometers.

The built-in screen has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a brightness of 1000 nits. The smart console can connect to the Internet via a wireless network or via an LTE dongle.

With Android support, it also supports bluetooth and other functions. Except for up to 3 hours of autonomy with the 5000 mAh battery.

The Mavic 3 Pro's starting price is said to be around $1,600, according to sources. The price of the Mavic 3 Cine model can be around $2,500. The current DJI Smart Controller costs $750.
