| Google introduces Material You into its suite of apps |
The Android 12 release date is approaching, so Google has started rolling out the changes in its apps.
In a new blog post, the company reviewed a number of apps that have been re-engineered using the Material You design language. It also showed the vivid color appearance of pixel phones.
This article describes migrating Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Interview from your article to your article and your material with dynamic colors.
Material You means the company's new design language, which is more expressive, adaptable, integrated and personal. It can also include dynamic color changes based on the phone's background, at least on Pixel phones.
In other words, your app will change the background color according to the color, giving you a more dynamic and personal look. However, the existing color schemes, file types, and color-coded folders remain unchanged in the application.
Other changes you'll notice in the things updated apps include an updated navigation bar, improved floating action buttons, and use of Google Sans throughout the process for easier reading.
The company has announced that it will be releasing Material You for some applications. You can see it in Gmail 8/24/2021, Meet 9/19/2021, Drive 2.21.330, Documents, Tables, Slides 1.21.342, and Calendar 2021.37.

The update is part of a larger redesign of Android 12 that includes large bubble buttons, color changes, smoother animations, and some fixes for built-in apps.
As a result, the company switched to rounded corners, and the changes were mostly cosmetic. This does not change the position of the buttons and the basic navigation.
And there's no mention of Google Tasks (another recent update), Keep or Chat (a more complex change). These upcoming updates add a camera, calculator, clock, contacts, and Google Docs.
Building on our existing support for accessibility, the company said. Hardware You can automatically adjust the contrast, size, and width of the font according to user settings and application context.
In addition, all design changes apply to personal Google accounts and Google Workspace clients.
