| Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has a notch |
This year Samsung plans to bring three high-end tablets to the market. In addition to the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8 +, the Korean tech giant is also preparing the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
Last year, the company launched its flagship Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ tablets. But rumors keep spreading that Samsung's flagship tablet is bigger than the Galaxy Tab S7+.
The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, as its name suggests, is the top model with the best features.
Steve Hammerstoffer, owner of the OnLeaks Twitter account and a known tech whistleblower, debuted the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra through a series of computer-style images.
The image shows that the next tablet has a small bump that is not suitable for incorporating technology similar to Face ID. But it can give way to the front camera.
The frame around the screen is very thin. So obviously a bump was needed to accommodate the selfie camera.
Hammerstoffer stated that the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra comes with a 14.6-inch screen. The Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8+ offer 11-inch and 12.4-inch screens, respectively.
The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has two rear cameras and a magnetic strip for the S Pen, and the 360-degree image shows four speakers and a Type-C port, but no headphone jack.
Samsung is launching three advanced tablets this year
The design of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is clearly not quite finished, which explains the lack of magnetic connectors on the left side of the case and other reasons.
But this is what Samsung's next high-end tablet will look like. Its dimensions are approximately 325.8 x 207.9 x 5.4 mm. This makes it taller and thinner than the Galaxy Tab S7+.
The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is probably the only one that has a frame among the three tablets.
The Galaxy Tab S8 series is expected to hit the market earlier this week at the Unpacked Part 2 event. But that didn't happen.
These tablets could arrive in November or December unless a global chip shortage forces Samsung to push the release date back to 2022.
