The General Tools IRT207 8:1 Mid Range Infrared Thermometer has optics and scopes suitable for most HVAC/R, plumbing, heating, electrical, automotive, and other industrial work applications. Although IRT can be used as a food safety tool, it is not suitable for measuring human body temperature. The laser thermometer features a backlit LCD screen with a temperature range of -4 to 608 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 to 320 degrees Celsius). Laser thermometers contain lasers that can be turned off. In addition, the infrared thermometer has a distance to point ratio of 8:1 and a Fahrenheit/Celsius display. This digital thermometer is CE RoHS and WEEE certified. A 9 volt battery is included.
