In 2021, the luxury automaker plans to launch all-battery electric vehicle models, with the goal of becoming a 100% electric brand by 2030, Rory Harvey, global president of Cadillac, said in 2021.

Harvey has held various leadership positions at GM since then, and his predecessor remained committed to vehicle electrification until the end of the decade, although his position on Cadillac's electric vehicle plans was less clear.

John Roth, Cadillac's current global vice president, is open to the possibility of selling the brand's gasoline vehicles after 2030.
