Olight has officially taken the wraps off the Marauder 3, a new flagship flashlight that blends an ultra-bright floodlight with an ultra-long-throw spotlight. Built around a drop-resistant and waterproof aluminum body, the Marauder 3 also carries a massive 31,900 mAh battery that can reverse-charge phones and other electronics—making it as much a portable power station as a serious lighting tool.
Two beams, two very different jobs
At the center of the Marauder 3 is an LED spotlight with an aspheric lens. That lens focuses the light into a tight beam capable of reaching 1,000 meters (3,280 feet) while outputting 1,500 lumens or 250,000 candela. Surrounding that spotlight is a ring of LEDs that turns the flashlight into a floodlight. In flood mode, it can cover a wide area out to 530 meters (1,739 feet) with 25,000 lumens or 70,000 candela, according to Olight. A protruding strike bezel protects both light sources.
The highest outputs are meant for short bursts. Olight says both maximum modes can only be sustained for a few minutes before stepping down. After that, the floodlight settles at 3,750 lumens for more than five hours, while the spotlight drops to 750 lumens for over eleven hours, based on company testing. Both beams can also be used at the same time.
Controls, display, and Moonlight mode
The Marauder 3 is designed for easy handling. Its handle is wrapped in silicone for a more secure grip, and the tailcap includes a lanyard hole for attaching the light to a wrist, pack, or belt. A rotary dial can be configured to turn the light on with a simple tap, or it can be set to activate only after the dial is rotated 90 degrees and pressed. A display near the dial shows estimated remaining charge or runtime, while a toggle switch sits between the dial and display to select flood or spotlight. Both lights offer eight output levels, including an ultra-dim Moonlight mode built for multi-day blackouts and severe emergency situations.

In Moonlight mode, Olight says the floodlight can run for up to 90 days at 5 lumens, while the spotlight can last up to 430 days at 0.5 lumens. That endurance comes from a 3.7 V, 31,900 mAh, 118 Wh 46950 lithium-ion battery.
Turbo performance and reverse charging
In Turbo mode, the Marauder 3 can flood a wide area and still reach far with its spotlight. Olight notes that indoors, the Turbo flood mode is often bright enough to exceed the sunlight that normally enters a room through windows. The flashlight also works as a power bank. Its bi-directional USB-C port can reverse-charge electronics and phones with up to 30 watts of output. For durability, the Marauder 3 is designed to survive drops of up to 1 meter (3.3 feet) and water immersion down to 2 meters (6.6 feet).
Size-wise, the flashlight has a head diameter of 75 mm (2.95 inches), a length of 152 mm (5.98 inches), and a weight of 840 g (29.63 oz). It ships with a holster, USB-C charging cable, lanyard with integrated USB-C charging cable, power adapter, and a plastic storage case.
Colors, price, and release date
The Olight Marauder 3 will be offered in Black, Midnight Blue, and Orange, with an MSRP of $369.99. It is scheduled to go on sale from the Olight store on Amazon and the company website starting September 21, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. EST.
