Timex has quietly added another strong colorway to its Waterbury Heritage Automatic GMT lineup. The new TW2Y93500 is now showing up on Timex’s UK and EU websites with a “New” badge, and it has also landed on Timex US. This is the third version in the series, following the Coke and Sprite-style models that debuted back in April.
A familiar GMT with a darker, richer look
The biggest change here is the bezel. Instead of the red-and-black or green-and-black schemes seen on the earlier releases, the TW2Y93500 uses a two-tone maroon and black bezel. It gives the watch a slightly more subdued, sophisticated feel while still keeping the retro GMT vibe that has made this line popular.
The rest of the design stays close to what fans already know. You get a black dial with applied indices, a date window at 3 o’clock, and a red GMT hand with a white triangle tip. There’s also a yellow seconds hand, which adds a small pop of color against the black dial.
