Xiaomi's new UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank in its three launch colours.

Xiaomi has quietly expanded its magnetic power bank lineup with a new model that looks set to give Anker and other rivals a run for their money. The freshly launched UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 10000 25W has just surfaced in Singapore, and it combines the best bits of two separate accessories Xiaomi released in October—a slim 5,000mAh magnetic bank from China and a 10,000mAh "Slim" model sold in Hong Kong.

A Cross Between Two October Launches

To recap, Xiaomi kicked off October with a 5,000mAh UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank in China—just 6.75mm thick with 20W charging and three color options. A week later, it followed up with the Slim Magnetic Power Bank 10000 25W in Hong Kong, available in Glacier Silver and Graphite Black.

The new UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 10000 25W essentially merges the two. It keeps the Glacier Silver and Graphite Black finishes from the Hong Kong model, but adds the striking Velvet Red option that debuted with the 5,000mAh version in China. The result is a power bank that's both svelte and colorful.

Qi2 Support and 25W Wireless Charging

The headline feature here is Qi2 charging support, which is becoming increasingly important as more smartphones adopt the standard. According to the report from Notebookcheck, Xiaomi's new power bank pushes up to 25W—a notable step up from the 15W peak offered by popular alternatives like the Anker Nano Magnetic Power Bank.

That extra headroom could make a real difference for users who want faster top-ups without reaching for a cable. Xiaomi has also included four charging LEDs to indicate remaining battery levels, plus a small LED on the left side that lights up whenever the bank is wirelessly charging a device—a nice little quality-of-life touch.

Pricing and Availability

In Singapore, the UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 10000 25W retails for SGD 109 (roughly $85) across all three color options. That makes it about 45% more expensive than Xiaomi's previous UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank, which is sold globally.

You can check out the official listing on Xiaomi's Singapore store. For shoppers in other regions, the power bank is also listed on Amazon, though Xiaomi hasn't yet confirmed wider market availability.

Should You Upgrade?

If you already own a magnetic power bank, the jump to Qi2 and 25W charging is the main draw here. The 10,000mAh capacity is enough for roughly two full charges of most modern smartphones, and the slim profile means it won't add much bulk to your pocket or bag.

The price premium is worth noting, though. At SGD 109, it sits firmly in premium accessory territory—right up against established competitors. Whether it's worth it will likely come down to how much you value that faster wireless charging speed and Xiaomi's distinctive color options.

For now, the UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 10000 25W is a Singapore exclusive, and Xiaomi has remained tight-lipped about when (or if) it'll reach other markets. We'll keep an eye on this one.
