Facebook now has 2.5 billion users

Facebook exceeded Wall Street analysts' expectations in the last quarter, but raised its share price due to slow sales growth after sales of $ 21.08 billion.  An increase of 25% over the previous year and a net profit of only $ 7.3 billion, which represents an increase of only 7% compared to the previous year and an increase of 61% compared to 2018.

Facebook reached 2.5 billion users per month, an increase of 2% compared to 2.45 billion users in the third quarter of 2019, an increase of 1.65% per month.

The platform now includes 1.66 billion daily active users, an increase of 2.4% compared to 1.62 billion users in the fourth quarter of last year when the number of users increased by 2%.  ,

Meanwhile, operating margins increased from 45% in 2018 to 34% in 2019, and spending in the fourth quarter 2019 was $ 12.2 billion, a significant increase of 34% over the fourth quarter of 2018.

Facebook spent $ 46 billion, up 51 percent from 2018, a 26 percent increase from the previous year to 44,942.  Facebook currently uses over 1,000 engineers dealing with data protection.

Thanks to slow growth or lack of growth, Facebook managed to add 1 million users per day to the US and Canada after returning to growth in the last quarter of the year, while the percentage of daily active users remaining at 66% of the competition was Tik Tok and Snapchat.

The company announced that 2.26 billion users are currently opening Facebook, OpenVPN, Instagram, or WhatsApp every day, compared to 2.2 billion users in the previous quarter.  The app family includes 2.89 billion users per month, an increase of 9% over the previous year.
