Apple developed a new feature to extend MacBook battery life |
Apple plans to add a new feature (Battery Health Management) to the latest MacOS Catalina.
System version 10.15.5 contains new features that extend MacBook battery life by reducing the maximum charge in certain situations.
This feature does not need to focus on the use of certain applications and other features, but based on the charging mode and temperature record to determine the battery operating status. This means that this functionality is primarily intended for users who continue to operate the laptop during use.
This feature mostly works in the background, but users can turn it on or off in the power saving settings in the settings. This function should also have a limited impact on the device's charging time.
Note that this feature will be released as part of the developer’s earnings from today and will be added to the final release starting 10.15.5. This feature is compatible with all MacBook models that support Thunderbolt 3.
