Google is considering purchasing part of the TikTok app

According to the report, Google is considering buying a portion of the TikTok app as part of a joint offer to buy short video apps.

According to Bloomberg News, some companies have reportedly considered forming alliances to invest in the popular video sharing app. However, these efforts have failed in the past few days.

Google hasn't directed the work, but the search giant is considering acquiring a small, unreliable stake in TikTok through one of its investment lines.

Bloomberg stated that Google has not ruled out joining this circle in future appearances.

By being able to purchase a portion of the TikTok app, the company can attract a younger audience and generate more advertising revenue.

Google owns the popular YouTube video service and created a social network called (Google Plus) before it closed it last year.

However, having Tik Tok business in the US can also be a double-edged sword.

Social networks face a variety of challenging problems, including content editing and balancing freedom of expression.

While Tik Tok's short videos promoted demographics and dance, users also posted political content.

TikTok said this week that the company has removed more than 380,000 videos in the US this year due to hate speech violations.

The Trump administration's focus is on the app TikTok, which is used by 100 million Americans. Because it belongs to the Chinese technology company ByteDance.

Trump issued an executive order prohibiting all transactions with ByteDance and its affiliates in the United States. The decree comes into effect on September 20. If ByteDance does not sell its TikTok service, its request will effectively block short video apps. The program operates in the United States.

Trump recently issued another executive order ordering ByteDance to sell the US company Tik Tok within 90 days.

The Trump administration has raised concerns that the Chinese government is using TikTok to monitor US citizens and do propaganda during the election season.

TikTok denies the allegations and has stated that it will not share any US user data with the Chinese government even if requested to do so.

As Microsoft said, several companies have expressed an interest in purchasing Tik Tok. It discusses purchasing Tik Tok services in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Negotiations could be completed by September 15, the deadline for issuing decrees.

According to the report in the Wall Street Journal, Twitter is said to have held initial negotiations to purchase a portion of TikTok.

Apple and Oracle should also be interested in purchasing a portion of TikTok.

ByteDance purchased the app (Musical.ly) in 2017 for $ 1 billion, and the app was renamed TikTok.

Bloomberg quoted analysts and bankers as saying that the TikTok business in the United States is between $ 20 billion and $ 50 billion.
