Twitter is preparing to hand over President Biden's account

Twitter has confirmed that it is preparing to automatically transfer the President @ POTUS account to the President-elect (Biden). When he was sworn in on the day of the inauguration, it was whether or not the President (Trump) abdicated.

The same goes for whitehouse @, First Ladyflotus, and some other official accounts linked to the presidency.

Twitter spokesman Nick Basilio said in an email: Twitter is actively preparing to support the transfer of the company's Twitter account to the White House on January 20, 2021.

He added: As with the change of presidency in 2017, this process will take place in close consultation with the National Archives.

The company said the broadcast would not require any exchange of information between the outgoing Trump team and the incoming Biden team.

All of the tweets from those accounts were archived, and Twitter moved the account to Biden on the day of his inauguration, and deleted previous tweets after archiving.

Trump protested Biden's victory despite election officials' results that made Biden a candidate for the presidency.

So far, the GSA, the federal agency responsible for the official change of president, has refused to do so.

As a result, the Biden team cannot access everything from the office to the government email address and block the use of the government domain. Host the official transportation website.

If Trump continues to resist his losses and seek to be ousted from the White House on January 20, he will have no right to control one of the presidency's most important digital assets.

Twitter said its representatives will meet with Biden officials in the coming months to discuss details of how the new government will use the Twitter platform.

After Biden took office, Trump continued to control his @ realDonaldTrump account. However, due to Trump's status as a global leader, the account lost the special protection it received, which means that the account is compatible with most of the platform's users. The rules of use are the same.

In 2016, under Obama, the White House announced a plan to transfer digital assets to the next president of the United States.

When President Barack Obama resigned in 2017, Obama's presidential account was moved to the National Records and Archives Administration account.

The Trump White House has refused to openly discuss details of the president's move, including the case of digital assets like government Twitter accounts.
