Japanese company Sigma launched the Sigma fp L camera, which is the world's smallest and lightest full-frame mirrorless camera.
The Sigma fp L has a 61MP full-screen sensor, making it one of the most accurate full-screen models alongside the Sony A7R IV.
It offers a high-resolution sensor and an improved Hybrid AF system that combines contrast, phase detection, continuous performance, and many other features, making it a great tool for photographers and videographers.
Thanks to the camera, Sigma introduced hybrid phase detection autofocus and a high-precision auto contrast adjustment function.
This is a major improvement over the contrast-sensitive autofocus system found on previous cameras (like the Sigma fp full-frame).
The system can achieve smooth, fast and accurate auto-tuning to follow the moving subject of photos and videos.
You can still use the moving subject prediction function and manual focus mode for single AF and continuous AF. The ISO range remains at 100-25600, which can be expanded to ISO 6-102400.
For videos, the camera can record UHD 4K videos to a UHS-II SD or SSD card.
With the exception of some Blackmagic Design models, you can record video directly from an external drive with just a few cameras.
Battery life is approximately 240 still images or 60 minutes of recording time. However, the camera can still be powered from an external USB-C power source to extend its useful life.
Additional functions include a touch screen LCD with 2.1 million dots, USB-C charging when the camera is turned on, an HDMI output, a 3.5mm microphone input, and a 3.5mm audio output (it can be used as a USB-C webcam can be used) as well as it lets you zoom / Zoom Out Cropping High-quality video recording that is accurate when flared.
