With its new series of gaming laptops for the Lenovo Legion 7i and Lenovo Legion 5i Pro, Lenovo is focusing on 16-inch QHD displays with an aspect ratio of 16:10.

These laptops offer a refresh rate of 165Hz and G-Sync support. It delivers a bigger, clearer screen and a new, faster processor with the 11th generation Intel H series.

These computers are also one of the first mobile devices to support GeForce RTX 3050 and 3050 Ti graphics chips, as well as more powerful graphics chip options.

Legion 7i is the flagship and supports Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 (16 GB) with TGP graphics performance of up to 165 watts and an increased clock rate of up to 1710 MHz.

It can also be equipped with the flagship Intel Core i9-11980HK processor, which is one of the fastest notebook chipsets on the market.

The Legion 7i comes with a 300W power supply. Lenovo said: This model will be released in June 2021 with a starting price of $ 1769.

Despite some differences, the new Legion 5i still has several Legion 7i ports and specifications, including two Thunderbolt 4 ports, three full-size USB 3.2 ports, an Ethernet jack, and an HDMI 2.1 port for external display support pass-through that performs 4K output.

Models also include 3200MHz DDR4 RAM and a NVMe PCIe SSD. However, the maximum capacity depends on the model you have purchased.

If you don't need the same amount of power as the Legion 7i, then the Legion 5i Pro can use a 16-inch QHD screen with an aspect ratio of 16:10.

Equipped with Core i7-11800H processor and Nvidia RTX 3070 GPU, the maximum TGP is 140W and the boost speed is 1620MHz.

These specifications suffice for most games with QHD resolution at high graphics settings. The Legion 5i Pro will be available in June with a starting price of $ 1,329.

Lenovo's Legion 5i series products also include 15: and 17-inch models, excluding the 16:10 aspect ratio. However, you can buy QHD displays with Core i7-11800H and RTX 3070 or Core i7-11400H and RTX 3050.
