MSI launches gaming laptop

MSI has announced that its new line of notebooks will provide game and content makers with the latest 11th generation Intel Core H-Series processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPUs. Models will be available on May 16th.

MSI is known for its high-end gaming laptops. However, in recent years the company has made several attempts to diversify its product portfolio.

The new Creator Z16 is the first attempt to break into the premium hardware market for content makers as the target customer for the device is the users, which MSI specifically refers to to MacBook Pro users.

There are two Creator Z16 models starting at $ 2,599, and both feature a 120Hz QHD + touchscreen.

The 16:10 aspect ratio is very beneficial for designers and artists as it provides more vertical workspace than traditional 16: 9 gaming laptops.

Both models are equipped with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 and 32 GB of RAM. You can choose from 1 TB or 2 TB of storage and choose the Core i7-11800H or Core i9-11900H processors.

The company has also released the Creator M16, which includes a QHD + display, GeForce RTX 3050 Ti, and Core i7.

There is a Creator 17, including a small LED display, a Core i9, and a GeForce RTX 3080.

The GE76 Raider and GE66 Raider now have 11th generation Intel processors on the Core i9 with graphics up to RTX 3080 and a 240Hz QHD display, as is the case with the GS76 and GS66 Stealth.

The GP76 Leopard, GP66 Leopard, GL76 Pulse, and GL66 Pulse (both complementary products of the GL Leopard series) all have a new Core i7 chipset.

MSI has released two new game series, Katana and Sword. The company said: These devices have a completely new design inspired by the Japanese painter Tsuyoshi Nagano.

Currently, the Sword model is only available with 8GB RAM, and all Katana models come with 16GB. The Katana Model starts at $ 999 and the Sword Model starts at $ 1099.
