Dodge wants to build a car with an electric motor

The American automaker uses Dodge to build extremely fast cars, including the Challenger Demon.

Anyone interested in electric cars knows that they are very fast. A good example of this is the new Tesla Model S Plaid, one of the fastest cars in the world.

A new report shows that Dodge is planning to build an electric car with better performance than the Hellcat. Dodge doesn't want to drive his cars. But that situation is changing now that the company is part of Stellantis.

According to the report, Dodge is currently developing at least six electric vehicles. All six cars are now in the Michigan Design Studio.

Dodge has repeatedly warned that you must steer clear of a V8 engine in order to comply with impending emissions regulations.

However, the transition to electrification is not an excuse to stop producing high-performance cars.

The company harnessed the instant torque of a battery-powered motor to build the fastest car ever.

Evasion and Force:

Dodge is part of the massive Stellantis group that was founded in early 2021 and follows other sister companies in the switch to electric vehicles.

The report indicated that one of the electric cars currently under development will be the fastest Dodge ever. Challenger Demon 2018 won this title because he sprinted from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 2.3 seconds.

Automakers around the world are seeking to electrify their cars to meet the growing demands of the federal economy.

Dodge should be really quick to beat Tesla's Model S Plaid, which claims to hit 60 mph in less than two seconds, faster than the Challenger Demon.

Dodge hasn't defined its electrification strategy, so it's not clear if the electric vehicle rumor will hit the market as a coupe or sedan.

Dodge isn't fully electric yet. According to documents released by the Canadian Association in 2020, the plan is to build the Challenger at least before 2023.

It's too early to judge whether this will mark the end of the Hemi V8 engine. However, the report indicated that additional hybrid technology is underway for the company, which is in line with comments made by the then-president of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
