Samsung has released a new walkie-talkie app for its Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic smartwatches, which enables watch owners to use wearables to make "click-to-call" calls.

The app is available on the Google Play Store and users of the Galaxy Watch 4 series can use it to talk to each other. And you can't use the time before the deal.

Before the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 series officially released Wear OS 3, there were rumors that the South Korean giant was developing wireless capabilities for walkie-talkies.

Reports of the development of such applications appeared in May before the official release of the watch.

WatchOS 5's wireless functionality has been in use on Apple smartwatches since 2018. However, you need to use a PIN code to associate it with other people's smartwatches.

And Apple's Intercom function only allows two people to communicate at the same time. Samsung allows two or more users to chat by creating intercom channels.

The South Korean company recommends running the Walkie-Talkie app for the first time when the watch is connected to the phone. Although it can work regardless of your phone.

All you have to do is link it to your nearby friends smart watch. Then you can press and hold the microphone button to broadcast your voice.

The Galaxy Watch 4 series comes with Samsung's One UI Watch user interface and Wear OS 3, which was developed in collaboration with Google.

This is the first time we've seen a new version of Wear OS implemented with a smartwatch, but with a custom look and feel.

Both smartwatches use the Exynos W920 chipset with 5nm technology to improve performance and battery life.

All of Google's redesigned smartwatch apps appear on the Galaxy Watch 4 series, and all of Samsung's apps are on top of that.

The Galaxy Watch 4 series is perhaps one of the best Wear OS watches to date. Features like these make it a multifunctional smartwatch for everyone.
