Instagram gives creators up to $35,000 in rewards

Instagram provides huge amounts of money to content creators who post videos through reels. The platform announced the reels program in July when Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the company would pay content creators $1 billion by 2022.

These reports show exactly how many individual YouTubers are submitting reels and how many views they need to get the maximum reward.

If Reels' videos get 58.31 million views per month, the creators can make up to $35,000.

At the same time, it is reported that small content creators receive a much more modest wage. It is said that content creators with around 52,000 fans on the platform can get rewards of up to $1,000. It also offers up to $600 or $800 for others.

These rewards will increase over time. It recently gave $8,500 to creators with 24,000 fans for 9.28 million views. The same suggestion was made to others with 15,000 fans.

And there don't seem to be any hard and fast rules for how the payout amount matches the number of fans. The platform said the plan is still in its infancy and is still being tested and coordinated.

In exchange for posting videos on reels

"As we roll out payments to more content creators, we will continue to test payments," the company said. They are expected to hesitate first.

Both YouTube and Snapchat offer rewards to creators. YouTube announced in August that it would pay up to $10,000 per month for popular videos.

Meanwhile, Snapchat announced Spotlight Challenges last month, which offer various rewards for promoting video creation. Snapchat says its prize pool typically ranges from $1,000 to $25,000.

One possible explanation for the bounty programs of these platforms is that they watch the growing popularity of TikTok with caution.

It is no coincidence that many bounty programs focus on short video services similar to TikTok.

TikTok doesn't seem to care about how much funding its competitors are offering. At the end of September, it was announced that the number of monthly active users had crossed the one billion mark.
